BarBacon Union Square: Reviews & Ratings
Kentucky fried bacon bites were amazingly delicious! Lamb bacon Reuben on a rye bread was great! Bacon ice cream sundae was not my thing Will come back again to try other foods especially that ladies night is on Thursdays
Overall decent spot. Food is slightly overpriced. Atmosphere is good for watching sports. Service is friendly but a bit understaffed on a busy night. $20 sliders are tasty but overpriced. Cold, awkward nachos. Tasty tomato soup. Caramel bacon popcorn is great. Good beer selection. Lots of TVs. The place has potential but just a bit rough around the edges.
Amazing gastropub by Union Square. The place has a heavy emphasis on bacon dishes which include comfort food and more elaborate dishes. It has a chill low-key vibe, it's a great place to go drinking or enjoy a good lunch or dinner. Atmosphere and aesthetic are top notch.
Had a lovely evening with friends at BarBacon including one vegan and one person keto! They had options for both diets. The design and layout of the place is trendy and cool. The waitstaff are very nice and accommodating. They had originally seated us in chairs without back support, but once we had said something they were happy to replace all of our seats. Our waiter was super cool, very chill relaxed vibe, made us laugh. We will definitely be back in the future.
Have MERCY!! When I tell you this place is worth every red cent for brunch I'm not lying! Any bacon aficionado (or even bacon semi-fan) cannot miss the opportunity to eat at this amazing place. Edit: This place is SO fantastic I brought my boyfriend back for brunch the very next day and he loves it! We will likely be regular patrons here this summer.
I came here last Friday and all I could say is OMG. This place is a bacon paradise (sorry vegans) for those like me who love bacon. The food and service is outstanding. The place has a nice rustic look and the prices are very reasonable for this area. I got the lamb burger (with bacon of course) and a side of fries. Let me tell you about those fries....they are probably some of the most tastiest fries I have ever had. There was really no need for the ketchup for them. They were great as-is. I literally inhaled them. I really enjoyed my Bloody Mary (with bacon infused vodka) and my dessert of cheesecake (with a bacon crust...duh). Oh I am so coming back here....you could never get enough bacon.
Bacon everything here. If you are a bacon lover you definitely need to check this place out. I had the bacon old fashioned and the layers of flavors in this drink were perfect. Not pictured here I also had the side of slab bacon which was delicious as well as the 50-50 sliders. Probably one of the best tasting burgers I've had. Dessert was a bacon cannoli which is 1 of the only places I've ever had such an item. Will absolutely be back again. Staff is very friendly and a warm, clean inviting environment.
I'LL BE BACK.... 4 MORE!! Is the best way to describe the food and experience at this place. I had the Pulled Pork (with bacon duh), Bourbon Corn Bread & the house recommend specialty cocktail was an Old Fashion... with yup you guess it more bacon. One last thing the bartender Sheladys (said call her Larry) was very down to earth and knew her stuff about the food and the booze. So end as I started I"LL BE BACK for the Kentucky Fried bites & BBQ Burnt Ends.

The menu stands out with imaginative bacon-centric creations. For those who revel in the more indulgent side of bacon, the Kentucky fried bacon bites receive glowing praise for their amazing flavor, and the lamb bacon Reuben on rye has become a favorite among regulars. Additionally, if you dare to venture into the sweet realm, the bacon ice cream sundae brings a unique twist to dessert, though opinions vary. The caramel bacon popcorn has also been noted as a must-try snack that resonates with guests.
